Sony Xperia is one of the most successful Sony smartphone series. The Xperia line started with a much sleek and stylish Neo V smartphone which was powered by the Google Android 2.3 (Gingerbread). Then Sony released other models in the Xperia line such as Arc S, Play, Xperia U, Xperia P and Xperia S. Now Sony’s latest mobile phone in the Xperia line is the gorgeous and stylish Xperia Ion. Here’s a sneak-peak into what Ion has that makes it so special.

Xperia S vs Xperia Ion

Anyone who wishes to make comparisons between Xperia S and Xperia Ion, here’s a little info that can help you differentiate the two Sony smartphones.

I have checked in detail, the only differences I can find are:

  • Battery of Xperia S is 1700 mAH and Ion has 1900 mAH battery.
  • Xperia S screen size is 4.3 inches and Ion has 4.6 inches display.

There may be other features but that are just insignificant to the scope of this Xony Xperia Ion review. The major differences are just the two that I have mentioned above. So what’s your take on this new phone from Sony? Please share your views.
