The string gauge and height kills your fingers. I remember the skin hanging off the tips off my fingers after 10 minutes on an unamplified electric guitar. Ahh happy days. Some people have excellent knowledge of guitars but they suck at explaining it to newbies. I think I like the FG700S Yamaha guitar a lot and I will buy that to begin with learning to play guitar.
